Emigrating from Cuba, Roy and Ines set out to provide their growing Latino community in the United States with the coffee they had come to love in the Caribbean. Growing up in Cuba, Inés' family worked in various agricultural industries, including coffee. From roasting coffee in their kitchen and selling door to door, the two created our family brand Café El Coqui. Today our legacy brand is lovingly operated by their daughters and grandchildren, who maintain the same dedication our founders had since our start.
